We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accountancy Practice Manager to join our team. This will be a part-time, permanent position.
Reporting directly to the Founding Partner you will be responsible for the seamless daily running of the practice and provide leadership and management direction to the team. Your responsibilities will include overseeing all business administration to allow for continued growth and development of our firm.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing the Work In Progress schedule based on deadlines and client requirements
Team and Relationship Management - Develop positive working relationships, manage and oversee the work of various accounting team members involved in the direct production of accounts, payroll etc. ensuring a quality service is delivered and clients' needs are represented.
Review and manage Practice Internal Procedures and implement new strategies
Develop a best practice Document Management Process
Manage current compliance procedures, ensure policies are reviewed and updated regularly with regards to GDPR regulations and CRO deadlines
HR Management, including processes and employee development
Key skills and attributes:
Team Leader / Management Experience
Excellent communication skills
Excellent time management and organisation skills
Comfortable working to deadlines
Excellent IT skills
Excellent people/influencing skills
At least 3 years’ experience in a Team Leader/Management position
Technical with working knowledge of accounting software
Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
